Days 1 - 2
Days 2 - 4
Leave San Marino in the late afternoon and catch the train back to Milan. In Milan join the overnight Thello service to Paris.
Days 4 - 5
Arrive in Paris early the following morning. Either spend the day in Paris or make your way to Paris Gare Du Nord for your Eurostar train home.
Complete your journey by taking the Eurostar back to London from Paris.

OPEN THE FOLLOWING TABS.
DEUTSCHE BAHN (FOR CHECKING TIMETABLES, IT'S THE BEST SITE FOR THIS. YOU CAN'T BOOK ONLINE WITH THEM THOUGH UNLESS THE SERVICE GOES VIA A GERMAN STATION).
This is the overnight train option, using the Thello service from Paris to Milan, before continuing to Rimini and San Marino the following day.
Lon 14.31 - 17.56 PGDN PGDL 19.59 - 06.00 Milan Cent
Milan 07.35 - 10.34 Rimini Rimini - San Marino by bus.
Take the bus from outside the station from Rimini to San Marino. The service runs hourly.
Rimini 18.19 - 21.25 Milan Cent Milan Cent 22.55 - 08.37 PGDL
Take any Eurostar train you like once you're back in Paris. Allow 90 minutes to travel across the city and check-in though.
MAKE THE BOOKING
1.OPEN THE VOYAGES SNCF TAB
Enter Paris and Milan and the time ( 19.00 will bring up the 19.59 service). Choose the return option. Click on "Show more fares" button for sleeper price options and make your choice for both outward and return journey.
You can book your Eurostar ticket on the Voyages SNCF site too, after you've purchased your sleeper ticket, but you may find it easier to choose trains on the Eurostar site.
2. OPEN THE EUROSTAR TAB
Book your return ticket from London to Paris. We've suggested the 14.31 service but obviously you're free to choose any earlier option. Eurostar now also allow you to book from a number of UK stations all the way through to Paris. If your station isn't featured then visit The Trainline.
3. OPEN THE TRENITALIA TAB
It's cheaper if you book this leg of the trip with Trenitalia. You can only collect the tickets once you reach Italy though (just use the ticket machines at Milan station). Book your return.
4. OPEN BOOKING.COM TAB
